He started playing in the streets of A colony in Haripur, and initially played some gully cricket. After reaching secondary school he joined the school team and represented Federal Boys school in their inter school games. 1993 he become the captain of his College cricket team and in the mean time was selected for provincial Under 19 team and played as all-rounder. After joining Pak American Fertilizers he actually stated his professional cricket and joined PAFL cricket team as opening batsman and leg spin bowler and participated in many national Level cricket Tournaments and won many man of the match awards. Later he joined Engro Chemical Dharki and played with the Engro cricket team for 2 years. During his stay with Engro he played many local and provincial level tournaments. After joining ORYX GTL he moved to Qatar and joined HADICO cricket club and start playing QCA A league cricket (50 overs) game and become very famous in cricket community. Later HADICO club was named as QATARI DIAR cricket club and for the past 5 years he is with this team as senior member. When ORYX announced their team for the very first time in 2005 he was the one of the active member of the team and playing since then till now with his strong batting and bowling skills. He has proved his abilities many times in Dukhan and Alkhor community against many strong teams like Dukhan Operations and Ras gas specially. He was recently selected in Qatar’s National cricket team squad and participated ACC 20/20 tournament.
