He started playing cricket for his secondary school (JNGHSS) and represented for Kannur District team. He was selected for Kerala North Zone team and participated in many matches. Started as a team player for Govt. College of Madappally and promoted as a Captain. Due to his excellent performance he was selected to play for Kerala under 19. Got admission in Callicut University on Sports Quota to study Bachelor of Commerce and represented the university team. In Kerala State league matches, he had consecutively taken 5 wickets in three matches and won many “Man of the Match” awards. His best figure is 5 for 30 in those league matches. He wishes to be a professional International Cricketer.
