Participated in many sports activities for school from Volleyball, Long Jump, High Jump to Table Tennis etc. However, did not appear in School Cricket Team. Played active cricket at gully level in Bombay before shifting to Qatar and participated in various QP/Affiliated Companies & QCA/QVC organized cricket tournaments. Currently holds the records for scoring hightest number of runs in Chairman's Cup Cricket Tournaments and hitting highest number of sixes.

Even though he has gained a few pounds, his batting power actually has improved, but his bowling has lost some teeth. He has been the backbone and a match winner of the team for sometime. He has very good qualities in recognizing young talented players and encouraging them. One of them is who bowls like Shane Warne, the other a fast bowler from North and a very special player from Bangladesh.
